GY Strengthens Quality Control System to Deliver Safer, More Reliable Ice Hockey Helmets to Global Players
To further enhance product safety, reliability, and compliance with international ice hockey equipment standards, GY Company is actively establishing an in-house Quality Control Laboratory designed to strictly align with the requirements of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
As part of GY’s commitment to continuous improvement and global quality excellence, the new laboratory will support comprehensive testing procedures throughout the entire production process — from Incoming Quality Control (IQC) to Finished Product Quality Control (FQC). This integrated quality management system focuses on critical safety performance indicators, including impact attenuation, structural integrity, and overall product durability.
By implementing a closed-loop testing and monitoring system, GY aims to achieve more precise control over key product performance parameters and strengthen consistency across every production batch. This approach enables GY to maintain stable manufacturing quality while ensuring that every helmet meets rigorous safety expectations before reaching customers worldwide.
The establishment of this dedicated quality control capability represents an important milestone in GY’s ongoing commitment to innovation, manufacturing excellence, and customer confidence. Through continuous investment in advanced testing capabilities and quality management systems, GY is working toward full compliance with the stringent dual requirements of CSA and HECC standards, providing the global ice hockey community with safer, more dependable protective equipment.
